What is Involved in a Fire & Ice Facial?


The facial involves treating the skin with two professionally formulated masques combined with iS Clinical products specific to the patient’s skincare requirements to optimise results. The ‘Fire’ and ‘Ice’ name given to this treatment is because of the sensation these masques have on your skin. But don’t worry, they’re not as extreme as they sound! Both offer quite a pleasant and Fagron DNA Acne Testing relaxing feeling, with a ‘tingly, warm’ sensation for the first ‘Fire’ masque and a ‘cool’ sensation for the second ‘Ice’ masque.


The first masque is for intensive resurfacing, clinically formulated with sugar cane extract (a source of glycolic acid), citric acid, apple extract, retinol (Vitamin A), niacinamide (vitamin (B3) and the potent antioxidants green tea extract. The second is a rejuvenating masque, which is a soothing, hydrating treatment formulated with sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), aloe vera, green tea extract, liquorice, grape extract and rosemary extract. The two-step facial removes the top looser layers of the epidermis, while the superficial trauma caused to the skin stimulates the skin’s healing mechanism to boost collagen production.
