The History Of Slot Machines

Slot machines are undeniably the most iconic symbol of any modern casino environment.

But the journey from mechanical bells to digital screens is a fascinating story.

The Invention of the First Slot

For decades, machines remained purely mechanical, requiring a physical pull of the lever.

The landscape changed forever when Bally introduced the first electrically powered machine.
